AFCON 2017: Crocked Pharoahs Without Five Players For Final Showdown

Egypt gears up for the final game of the 2017 Nations Cup against Cameroon without five key players. The Pharoahs will be without five star performers for the Indomitable Lions clash in a match billed for the pundits of the game.

Arsenal midfielder, Mohammed El Neny leads the quintet rocked with injuries and suspensions that includes Ahmed El Shenawi, Ahmed Hassan Koka and Mahmoud Kahraba.

Hector Cuppers men head into the fixture with an alarming record of 24 matches unbeaten run at the Nation’s cup whiles the Indomitable Lions boast of a 15 match unbeaten run in all competitions.

A win for Egypt will make it eight trophies in the continent while the Indomitable Lions are chasing their fifth trophy after sending the Black Stars packing at the semis stage in a 1-0 win. Egypt meanwhile needed the lottery of shootouts to book a final showdown at the expense of Burkina Faso after a 1-1 regulation time score line.
