Chief Executive Officer of WA All Stars, Mr Oduro Nyarko, says he was in absolute shock when his side lost by 3-1 to Ahli Tripoli in the first leg tie of the CAF Champions league at the Tamale Sports Stadium yesterday.
The Wa based club couldn’t find an antidote in curtailing the threat of the Libyan side who proved very strong on the day.
According the experienced football administrator, he was in shock after their defeat, but remains confident ahead of the second leg in Tripoli, but insists how tall a order it will be in overturning the result.
“Football is so intricate that, you can hardly predict the scoreline, I’m absolutely shocked about the defeat but it is possible we can overturn the results in the second leg, even though I must admit that, it’s going to be a tall order.
We were really prepared for this game, but there will be a need of going back to the drawing board and correct our mistakes ahead of the second-leg, ” Oduro explained
