Coach of Sekondi Hasaacas Yussif Basigi has expressed his confidence of winning the Ghana Premier league (GPL) title despite the difficult run of form the team has been facing.
Hasaacas are 10th on the GPL standings, 3 points adrift off the relegation zone but Basigi is confident of turning things around in the second round.
In an interview with Sportscrusader.com Basigi said : ” we have identified our weakness and we are correcting and building on it to put things in the right order, if things work out well, we can challenge for the title or enter the top four which was one of our priority entering into the 2015/2016 campaign.
“There is a long way to go in the second round and my boys are well prepared and poised for the task at hand”, he ended.
Coach Basigi also emphasized the need for fair officiating of which he has had mixed feelings about so far in the 2015/2016 campaign, but has entreated the officials to make fairness in the GPL their hallmark so that it will thrive across borders because it seems to be one of the factors that has accounted for the low patronage.
Sekondi Hasaacas will on Sunday, face against Ebusua Dwarfs in matchday 18 of the GPL at the newly-built Cape Coast Sports Stadium and he is confident of securing all three points.
