Bechem United’s Pre-Season Trip To Turkey Delayed Amid Security Concerns

The Turkish Embassy in Ghana, has delayed Bechem United’s pre-season tour in Turkey, due to the recent ISIS assault on the Reina Night Club in Istanbul, which left 39 dead and injured dozens.

It is the latest in a string of terror attacks, that have damaged the country’s tourism sector.

The Hunters, were scheduled to fly from the country yesterday January 11, for a 15 day training tour, but has been delayed.

According to the management of Bechem united,they have acquired their visas to enable them fly to Turkey, but the Embassy asked them to halt their tour unless there is the assurance of a proper security control in Turkey.

The Hunters, are yet to be told, when they would be allowed to embark on their trip, which will see them prepare adequately for the 2016/2017 Ghana premier league season.

Bechem united won the MTN FA cup last season and will represent Ghana in the Caf confederation Cup this season and would want to do well.
