Sekondi Hasaacas striker, Eric Bekoe has accused Asante Kotoko Head Coach David Duncan of insulting him on the touchline during their Premier clash at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi on Friday night.
The 29-year outspoken forward played the full game for the Sekondi based side against A Kotoko side, who were in search for their first win of the season to relieve Coach Duncan of some pressure.
Speaking to the press after the game, Bekoe, a former Asante Kotoko attacker said, “We played against the referee (Hanson) and not the team. As a respected coach that we all know, he called me at the touchline and insulted me. It doesn’t look professional,”
“It is uncalled for. I don’t know what I did. He just called me and started dissing. If it was my fault, his coaches would not have called me to apologize.”
Eric Bekoe, who failed to deliver on his promise to score against Kotoko, has so far bagged three goals in this term’s Ghana Premier League.
