Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Streetwise Promotions, Michael Amoo-Bediako, has promised a good night of boxing on March 11 at the Bukom Boxing Arena in Accra.
Streetwise Promotions in collaboration with Errol Hawk Sports Management have put together an action packed show that forms part of Ghana’s 60th anniversary celebrations.
“It surely promises to be a good night to be a Ghanaian and we appreciate the support of the new regime who have declared their commitment to promoting the sport in this country and have made this promotion an official part of Ghana’s 60th independence celebrations,”Amoo-Bediako said in a press conference on Thursday to announce the bill.
The main bout will feature a vacant WBC international silver lightweight belt between lightweight contender Richard Commey and Belgium’s Hedi Slimani.
The co-main bout is between welterweight ranked Frederick Lawson and Jamaica’s Sakima Mullings, the duo will for the vacant WBC international silver welterweight title.
Also on the card is a vacant WBC international silver bantamweight title battle between reigning Commonwealth and WBO Africa bantamweight champ Duke Micah and Jonathan Aguilar from Mexico.
