The National U21 Beach Volleyball team, Black Spikers, zoomed into the next stage of the world cup qualifiers staged in Lome.
The Spikers dispatched host nation, Togo, Nigeria and Benin to go top in the group.
The toast of the fans in the tournament, The Black Spikers opened their campaign with a 2-1 win over the host in Lome and followed it up with a commanding 2-0 win over the much fancied Nigeria.
A final group stage 2-0 win over Benin to book a ticket into the second round of the world cup qualifiers.
The female side of the Ghanian team also made it to the next stage of the qualifiers.
The winner of the qualifiers picks the sole ticket to represent Africa at the Beach Volley World Cup to be staged in China later in the year.
