CAF CC: Bechem United Coach Confident of MC Alger Scalp

Bechem United Coach Vincenzo Alberto Annese is confident of qualifying to the next round of CAF Confederations Cup, as they hold a 2-1 advantage going into Sunday’s second leg encounter against MC Alger at the Omar Hamadi Stadium, Algeria.

The Hunters who only need a draw to advance to next round of the competition, remains the only hope for Ghana in this year’s CAF competition as their counterparts Wa All Stars are virtually out of the champions league after their 3-1 home defeat against Al- Ahli Tripoli.

According to the Italian trainer, he anticipates a very difficult task ahead but remains hopeful of securing a spot in the round of the competition.

“Nothing is impossible in football, we just have to go and play well in Algeria, I must admit is not going to be easy,” he said in an interview.

“They came here and almost got a draw but we were able to win, they most important thing is we won here in Ghana.

“We can also get a good score line there in Algeria, all we need to do is prepare very well before the game and we can shock them.”

Meanwhile, Bechem United are due to depart to Algeria today for the game.
