Bechem United striker, Ahmed Toure, says he is delight about their 2-1 win over MC Alger in the CAF Confederation Cup first leg tie at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
Bechem United defeated their Algerian counterparts in a hard fought victory, as Toure and Kwaku Bonsu scored a goal each, with Secquer Mohammed scoring the consolation goal for the away team.
According to 29-year-old striker, the clash was a difficult as earlier anticipated, but managing a win will certainly boost their confidence going into the second leg.
He said: “”We thank the Supporters for their support. It was difficult encounter but we managed to win, which was of course a perfect one. So we shall prepare very well
ahead of the second league encounter in Alger,” he told sportscrusader.com in a post match interview.
Meanwhile, Bechem United will be in action on Wednesday as they face Great Olympics in their season’s opener.
