Spanish La Liga side, Deportivo Alaves, sumptuously set up a Copa final with FC Barcelona after edging out Celta Vigo in the semis. The Primera division new comers held off strong competition from Celta in both legs to book a final berth berth with a 1-0 win.
Having just eliminated Athletico Madrid in a fiercely contested second leg at the Camp Nou, Barcelona returns for their title defense against Deportivo Alaves. Luis Enrique and his free scoring Barcelona side limped past their Rojiblancos opponents in a 1-1 drawn game after an opening 2-1 win at the Calderon.
Alaves meanwhile booked their Copa final ticket thanks to a solitary strike in the second leg on home soil after a 0-0 drawn game in Celta. Barcelona lost on home soil to Deportivo Alaves in the first round of the season and a chance to revenge in the Copa Del Rey final certainly looks promising for the fearsome MNS scoring goals just when they feel.
