Coach of Ebusua Dwarfs, Prosper Narteh Ogum, has reiterated his side’s desire to escape relegation despite their poor run of form in the Ghana Premier League (GPL).
Dwarfs are one point off the relegation spot, after their third successive loss when they were beaten by Hearts of Oak in week 28 of the GPL, following defeats by Medeama SC and Bechem United respectively.
Ebusua Dwarfs’ manager was keen on Premier League survival, because to him, it will be a blow to return to the Division One League with two matches to end the season.
“We are surely going to remain in the Premier League, I have no doubt to this assertion of mine.
“I will plead with match officials to apply the laws of game fairly and firmly, I can’t predict a referee’s attitude going into a match, but I believe Ghanaian referees are good and they will certainly apply the laws of the game.”
The Coach, who claimed he was unperturbed by the performance of the matchday official against Hearts, is hopeful of significant improvement when they host already relegated New Ebubiase in week 29 of the GPL at the Robert Mensah Sports Stadium in Cape Coast.
