Captain of Elmina Sharks, Charles Mccarthy, says they are very prepared for upcoming Ghana Premier League season which is scheduled to start on February 11, 2017.
The Sharks had an impressive season in the GN Division One League after claiming top spot of Zone 2 and subsequently securing a spot in Ghana’s top flight league
According the 21-year-old midfielder, he believes his team can emulate their fine form in the DOL in the elite division, with the quality of players at their disposal.
In an interview with sportscrusader.com, McCarthy said: ” We are aware of the stiff challenge ahead of us and I believe we have the players to help us thrive in this years’
league. We’ve quality players who have Premier League experience and I’m sure the will help the team secure top four spot at least.”
Meanwhile, Elmina Sharks open their seasons against defending champions Wa All Stars at the Wa stadium on the 12 February, 2017.
