Aduana Stars centre back , Emmanuel Akuoko, has audaciously plot a scalp over Elmina Sharks ahead of their clash over the weekends. The General skipper for the 2010 league champions tipped his to add the Elimina Sharks to AshGold in their casualty list when they play their first away of the season.
Elmina Sharks saw their top flight debut delayed for one more week with their opponents, Wa All Stars, playing in continental football. The premier league newbies however look destined to make their league bow at home to Aduana Stars in Cape Coast, a match Akuoko thinks will end in defeat for the home side.
Emmanuel Akuoko, who turns 26 years in August, tipped his slick passing side to give Elmina Sharks a true taste of premier league baptism in a game expected to gather the football fans in Cape Coast at one spot.
“It is their first league game on home soil since their promotion.
“They will come out flying but I am sure we will come good at the end of the day.
“The Sharks will be added to the Elephants at the end of the 90 minutes because I know Aduana Stars are going for the three points at stake”, Akuoko revealed.
The Dormaa based defender joined Aduana Stars in 2008 and has won a number of accolades with the Ogya Boys as the general skipper of the side. The 2010 champions edged out Ashgold in their opening fixture of the season to hand Coach Yussif Abubakari a winning return to the Ghana Premier league since parting ways with Techiman City at the end of last year.
