FA Cup champions, Bechem United have mutually parted ways, with former Hearts defender Owusu Bempah, after few weeks a of announcing the signing of the player.
According to his manager, the player has secured a contract to play outside Ghana, so there was the need to terminate his contract and move out of the country.
Bempah, joined the Bechem based club as a free agent, after his contract expired at the former Ghana Premier League champions.
The 22-year-old versatile defender, after leaving Hearts of Oak, at the end of the 2016 Ghana Premier League, was linked with several clubs which includes Premier League new comers Elmina Sharks.
Bempah, opted to join the Hunters due to the club’s engagement in this year’s CAF Confederation Cup, but has rescinded his decision to continue with the hunters.
Bempah had previously played for club’s such as King Faisal, RTU and New Edubiase.
He led Ghana’s U-20 team to finish third at the 2015 African Youth Championship held in Senegal.
