Former Black stars player Mohammed polo has asked the leadership of the Ghana football Association to do a sacrificial Cleansing for players of the Black stars to enable them end the 35-year trophy drought.
The Black stars failed to win the 2017 Afcon after losing to Cameroon in the semi final by 2 goals to nil shattering the dreams of the stars as they pursued for the trophy, having won it the last time in 1982.
According to Mohammed Polo,Ghanaians are angry with players of the national team after series of monetary issues with Governments of the country dating back from the 2014 world cup to this time.
Speaking to Sportscrusader.com Polo said, unless the team is spiritually cleansed, the team is likely to extend the 35-year trophy drought.
“The team could have won the 2015 and 2017 Afcon but something is wrong somewhere.”
“Ghanaians are angry with the players so anybody who comes into the team will be affected.
“They need a sacrificial Cleansing before they can win a trophy for the country”.Polo said.
