SD Eibar have announced the signing of former Manchester United winger Bebe on a four-year deal.
Bebe has joined the La Liga outfit from Portuguese giants Benfica, where he made just one first-team appearances, having spent the last 18 months on loan with Rayo Vallecano and Cordoba respectively.
Bebe shot to prominence when he completed a surprise transfer to United in 2010, although he spent much of his years at the club on loan as he failed to make the grade at Old Trafford.
During that time with the Red Devils, he played just twice in the Premier League while making seven first-team appearances in total, scoring two goals.
Now 26 years old, Bebe moves to a side that finished 14th in La Liga last season, having been relegated with Cordoba and Rayo in his last two campaigns in Spain’s top flight.
Bebe played in 34 league matches last season for Rayo, scoring three goals, and it seems Eibar saw enough in the winger to take a chance on him for the new season.
