Ghana’s Track and Field Athlete, Emmanuel Dasor, became the second Ghanaian athlete to qualify for the 2017 IAAF World Championship to be held in August 2017 in London, United Kingdom.
Dasor made his personal best of 45.43 secs in the 400m at C-USA Outdoor Championships in Texas.
The Ghanaian athlete was second in the finals of the men’s 400m race behind Emmanuel Korir who clocked a time of 44.53.
Dasor was part of Ghana’s Track and Field athletes for the 2016 Rio Olympics.
Meanwhile, Janet Amponsah was the first Ghanaian athlete to qualify for 2017 IAAF World Championship after clocking a time of 23.10 in the Women’s 200 metres race at the 2017 War Eagle Invitational in Auburn last month.
