GPL: Crocked Nicholas Mensah Set To Return In The Second Week Of March

Wa All Stars defender Nicholas Mensah is set to make an injury return for the reigning Ghana Premier league champions in the second week of March. The robust centre back limped off the pitch at their Wa based training grounds in the off season and has since been diagnosed with a stress fracture on the leg.

The versatile defender, who starred for Wa All Stars in their triumphant 2016 campaign playing across the back line. The former Tudu Mighty Jets defender however endured an off season ahead of the upcoming season with series of nagging injuries.

The robust centre back, who has been confined to the treatment table with his latest injury, however look set to make a swift return to the pitch in the second week of March

His return will augment the back line of Wa All Stars as they embark on their title defense. Enos Adipah Kwame bolstered the defensive department of his side with the arrival of Nana Addai Aduku , Jeffery Degorl and Solomon Aboagye.

The defender has since missed the past five matches for Wa All Stars including their Champions league first leg home tie to Ahly Tripoli at the Tamale Sports stadium.
