Coach of Ebusua Dwarfs, Prosper Narteh Ogum has lamented the average performance of match officials when they lost by a goal to nil against Accra Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium in week 28 of the Ghana Premier league (GPL).
Foovi Aguidi’s spectacular free-kick was enough for Hearts as they claimed all three points and also reignited their title hopes with two matches to end the 2015/16 GPL season.
In a post-match interview after their loss, coach Prosper said: “I think the referees did well, but some of their decisions were questionable. I wouldn’t like to attribute our loss to the referees.”
Prosper also reiterated the need to go back to the drawing board and work towards remedying the faults of his players so as to prevent a future recurrence.
Ebusua Dwarfs, who are involved in the relegation battle, will seek to improve their current standing in the GPL as they welcome New Edubiase who have already been relegated, at the Robert Mensah Sports Stadium in Cape Coast.
