Aduana Stars captain Godfred Saka, believes his side will be a force to reckon with in this year’s Ghana Premier League (GPL).
The Dormaa side, narrowly lost the league title to eventually winners WA All Stars in dramatic circumstance last season.
But the experienced defender, believes the will change things this time round with the disposal of quality which includes the players and the technical team.
In an interview with sportscrusader.com at the launch of the 2016/2017 GPL on Wednesday, Saka said: ” We’re prepared for the league as well as the other competition,
we narrowly missed it out on the title last season, but with the new technical team and the quality players recruited, I believe we can at least make the top four spot, even though is not going to be easy” he noted.
He added: ” The exit of our top scorer(Yahaya Mohammed) last season will not affect the team, as we have players who can step-in an deliver,” he ended.
Aduana will be facing Ashanti Gold in their season’s opener on the 12th January, 2017.
