Bechem United avenged their corresponding fixture result as they thumped Hearts by 3-goals to one at Bechem on Sunday afternoon.

The Hawks’ strongly-built forward, Abednego Tetteh had his scoring boots on as he scored twice in the first half and completed a very good afternoon shift with his hat-trick goal in the 83rd minute.

Coach Sergio Traguil’s men didn’t get going until the 33rd minute when Ollenu Ashitey and Isaac Mensah wove through a packed defence only to be robbed off the ball in the final third.

Coach Manuel Zacharia’s prediction of beating Hearts, should his side get fair officiating, materialised as, with three minutes to end the game, Tetteh scored his third.

Owusu Bempah scored in added time from a free kick but was only a consolatory one as the Phobians’ wait for a first league title since 2008 will extend into next season’s campaign.
