Technical director for Ebusua Dwarfs, Kim Grant, has expressed his readiness to step in as the head coach of the club after the resignation of Prosper Nartey from the position.
Nartey, who had been hired as head coach of the club till the end of the 2015/16 GPL season, didn’t renew his contract.
Grant, a former international, has reiterated his readiness to assume both roles as the head coach of the club as well as its technical director.
He said: “I can assume both roles, there are similarities and I have learnt some ideas from Nartey in the past season. I’m awaiting a decision from the rank of the club and hopefully, I’ll be given the mandate to takeover.
“There has been rumours of me being named head coach, but I have not yet received any official communication,” he told Yes FM.
Grant had his first coaching stint as the manager of Conference National side, Woking, in May 2008 but was sacked after picking only two points from seven games.
