Crocked WA All Stars captain, Hafiz Adams, has revealed having sleepless night due to his knee injury. The inspirational skipper is itching for a return to competitive action after picking an injury in Sudan.
The flying full back openly aired out the mental trauma he is undergoing after his injury set back in the 3-1 defeat to Al Hilal in Sudan in the preseason friendly shake up. The ex Anokye Stars winger echoed his love for the game and the mental of seeing his colleagues in action whiles he stays on the touchline.
“I am beginning to have problems with my own self.
” I missed the field a lot when I see my colleagues training or playing matches.
” I think the mind torture is painful than the real injury. My office is on the field and to see other people occupying it makes me not happy at all”, Hafiz Adams said.
The title wining captain picked up an injury in Sudan and has since not return to action for the reigning GPL title holders with less that a week to the return of the season. The extend of the injury is not yet known as at the time of filing this report.
Wa All Stars open their title defense with a home clash against Elmina Sharks at the Wa Malik Jabir Park.
