Hasaacas Management Accepts Responsibility For Poor GPL Start

The Management of Sekondi Hasaacas has accepted responsibility for the club’s poor start in the 2015/16 Ghana Premier League (GPL) season.

The Takoradi-based club has lost three of their first five league matches, and Nana Benyin Eyison, bank roller of the club says poor pre-season is the cause of their abysmal start.

“We did not give our players a better pre-season, the management has accepted responsibility for the awful start to the season,” the Ghana Football Association Executive Committee member said.

“When teams were traveling to play in Saudi Arabia and others engaging in GHALCA 6 tournament with others also playing competitive friendly matches, Hasaacas was no where to be found and therefore, players will find it very difficult to compete at this early stage,” he noted.

Sekondi Hasaacas will host in-form Berekum Chelsea in Match Week Six action of the Ghana Premier League this afternoon (Sunday) at the Essipong Sports Stadium.
