Kevin Prince Boateng Makes Injury Return For Las Palmas

Self-exiled Ghana International, Kevin Prince Boateng made an injury for Las Palmas in the Spanish league Cup after a long injury lay off. The German born Ghanaian ended a five lay offs in the treatment table with a return to the pitch for the Yellows in the 0-2 home reverse to an Antoine Griezeman inspired Rojiblancos.

The pop star attacking midfielder, who has found a new home in Spanish football, enjoyed a dream start to his then ailing career before picking up an injury in a 3-1 win over Athletic Bilbao in November. The former Pompey, Spurs, and AC Milan celebrated attacker, has since missed the last four league fixtures for the then flying Yellows including the clubs Copa Del Rey last 32 ties.

His return to fitness for the Palmas based side might end their dreadful run of results in the absence of their star attacker. A goal each from Griezeman and Koke on either side, put Athletico Madrid on the brisk of last eight ties with the return leg in a week’s time.

Prince Boateng replaced Jonathan Viera with just over 15 minutes to be played in the Copa Clash.
