Ghana international Majeed Waris extended his scoring spree in the French Ligue I with another strike in a 2-3 home reverse for his side. The AS Lorient centre forward registered his third goal in three games to give the side a deserved lead before a last gap winner turned the scores around.
The former Trabonzor attacker converted a 60th minute winner to give Lorient a 2-1 lead against Dijon in the France top flight. Two late goals from Jordan Loties and Pierre Lees respectively turned the game on its head.
The Ghanaian imported added to his brace against Giungamp to make it three goals in his last three games.
Compatriot Alhassan Wakaso made his full debut for Lorient in the five goal thriller after his cameo appearance against Marseilles. The ex Rio Ages midfielder earned the respect of his new paymaster despite the home set back. Lorient remains bottom of the log with with five wins all season long.
