Former Accra Hearts of Oak striker, Eric Gawu scored the match winner to Dreams FC’s 2-1 win over Sekondi Hasaacas in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.
The Dawu based side had not won a match in their last two games and needed a win to revitalise a side that began their debut league season impressively well.
Former Asante Kotoko and Great Olympics defender, Godfred Asante gave the home fans something to shout about as he slotted home to give Dreams FC the lead.
Meanwhile, Hasaacas were hoping to avoid defeat and return to Sekondi with a point but veteran forick a point from the game, Eric Gawu dented their hopes with a late strike to give Coach C. K Akunnor and his boys all the three points.
Eric Bekoe scored but was only a consolatory one as the game ended in defeat for Hasmal.
The win has returned Dreams FC into the top four with 17 points from available 30.
