Ghanaian defender, Patrick Kpozo, has singled out his Europa league debut as the most important moment of his career.
The AIK Solna utility defender made his European bow in the preliminary stages of the 2016/17 season and has already highlighted his continental adventure as the best moment of his young career.
The Ghanaian import rued the missed chance of making it into the group stages of the tourney but remains hopeful the experience will come in handy in the future.
“It was a very happy moment in my career as a footballer to play in European ties.
“In the Europa league, you get to meet different types of players, and the experience is something you cannot describe.
“My debut game was a moment I can never forget as a young footballer”, Kpozo told Sports Crusader.
The Sweden-based defensive stalwart has been an ever-present feature at the back for ALK Solna until his recent injury setback.
He is however expected back in league action soon, having returned to the side in the domestic cup action.
The youngster featured in back-to-back European ties against Bala, Europa and a solitary clash with Panathinaikos.
