Ghana’s Francis Coffie has officially joined Saudi Arabian top-flight side Al Watani Club, the player has confirmed.
Coffie joined the Saudi side on a six-month deal from Sudanese giants Al Merreikh after spending two years at the Al-Fasher based club.
Coffie after signing the dotted lines, spoke with Sportscrusader.com.
“I’m so happy to sign for Al Watani because it is not easy to get a top notch club in Saudi Araba, so I thank God for that.
“In my two years at Al Merreikh I gave out my best and I became one of their best players, at my new club I will replicate that same perforamance and he even more so that I can win laurels for the team.”
Al Watani will be Coffie’s sixth club, after defunct Power FC, Asante Kotoko, Medeama, Ashanti Gold and Al Merriekh.
