Ghana Premier League (GPL) club, Sekondi Hasaacas remain confident that they will end Accra Hearts of Oak’s unbeaten away record in the league this season.
Hasaacas will host Hearts of Oak in a GPL Match-Day 19 encounter at the Sekondi Stadium at Essipong on Sunday with the stakes very high for both sides.
The Sekondi based club are involved in the relegation struggle as they bid to survive the league, with Hearts of Oak fighting to win this season’s championship at the end of the campaign.
And Hasaacas are confident they can claim victory over the Phobians as they visit the twin port city of Sekondi-Takoradi for Sunday’s encounter.
Coach Yusif Basigi has said beating Hearts of Oak on Sunday and ending their unbeaten away record is their chief aim going into this game, and they will fight to achieve this.
The coach’s promise has also been reechoed by club captain Daniel Egyin who said they players are firm in their conviction that they will win Sunday’s game on home soil.
“If we are to survive the season, then we need to maximum points at home and, Sunday’s game with Hearts of Oak is of utmost importance to us and we will not fail”, Coach Basigi said.
Captain Egyin added that their performance in the second round of the season has improved and, they are poised to win Sunday’s game to brighten their chances of avoiding relegation at the end of the season.
