The UEFA Champions League last-16 draw has today been announced, with Arsenal facing a tough clash with Bayern Munich and Manchester City taking on Monaco.
Arsenal finished top of their group on the final matchday last week, after thrashing Basel 4-1 at St.Jakobs Park and being handed a favour by Bulgarian outfit Ludogorets.
The latter held Paris Saint-Germain to a 2-2 draw at the Parc des Princes, allowing Arsenal for the first time in five years to finish top of their group.
However, Arsene Wenger was wary after that game in Switzerland, admitting that the quality of runners-up across other groups meant Arsenal had a good chance of facing a top team.
