Spanish born Ghanaian youngster, Innaki Williams, registered his fifth goal of the season as Bilbao edged out Apoel Nikolsa in the Europa league. The lanky forward restored a 2-0 lead for his Basque side before late rally from the Greeks forced a 3-2 final score line.
The Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspurs target, added some dollars to his price tag with the third goal for his Spanish side. The inspired Ghanaian added to a beauty from ace forward Aritz Aduriz to take the game away from the visitors with 18 minutes on the clock.
Apoel Nikoelsa took an early lead inside the electrifying San Mames with 36 minutes on the clock before an own goal from Merkins levelled the scores for the host two minutes later.
Veteran striker Aritz Aduriz then shot Bilbao into the lead after been put through by Iker Munian. The turn over was then completed by Innaki Williams, whose 73rd minute goal handed the host a 3-1 lead. The 21 year old Ghanaian rounded off a nice ball from Raul Garcia to give emphasis to the scores.
The visitors however made light work of the return leg with their second goal of the night to make the final scores 3-2 and put themselves in pole position to qualify to the last 16 stages of the 2016/17 UEFA Europa league.
